Heptonstall museum has been closed by Calderdale Council. Presently it is the subject of an expression of interest from a community group – the Friends of Heptonstall Museum. The Friends Group was launched by the Historical Society with a view to running the museum independently. A business plan for the long term future of the museum is currently being written.
